Great idea, love the separation of the dark and light through the frame of the door. Nice grass flowing. Fabulous idea, excecution however leaves a lot to be desired. The focus on this shot really couldve been alot sharper, i'm not really feelin the soft blur goin on right now, keep it up though

Nice idea and composition!.....A little more dof would be nice in order to see the stones also in focus.

great photograph!! I like how the door frames the mountain!! i agree about sharpness and focus... you also should darken the mountain if possible so that it could be seen better!!

I am not sure that another "blue" sky is the answer for success here.

I think the main issue is the focus.

I would have seen it cropped at the little gate, giving it a more mustique touch.

Agreed about the focus, but I love the concept and mood. I'd try to add more contrast -- especially to those clouds -- to make the photo more dramatic. I also like the muted colours. I'd love to see this reshot with more DOF.

Agreed with trevorm. A greater DOF would make this a perfect shot. I'd also like to see more cloud definition, but, well, you can't always control the clouds.

Not quite sharp enough, but an interesting play with the sky.

The thing with this one is that the focus was on the grass. The shutter speed was a little bit longer so that i would get the wavy blurred grass effect but i didn't take the wall into consideration getting an all round slightly out of focus photo. still i love the dark sky so i had to post it.

i like the lightning and the mood very much! but I agree on sharpening the wall...

wonderful tip there dakoo.. I think i just didn't give it enough time in post production to be honest im sure there is more i could have done since it was a RAW file. Thx on the help much appreciated.
